Starting on 10th of April 2025, China will hit all U.S. goods with a 34% tax in direct response to similar tariffs imposed by the U.S. China says these moves break global trade rules and put pressure on already fragile markets. In addition, China is placing several U.S. companies on its export control list and has filed a formal complaint to the WTO. This marks another step up in the economic conflict between the world's most powerful nations. This rise in tariffs will affect the whole global market disrupting global trade flows, having a negative impact on international businesses and overall creating even more financial uncertainty in this economy.
